I myself am what people may call a serial Facebook news feed browser. In the taxi, eating my lunch or any free time I have from not working I’ll be checking what my family and friends are up to as I rarely have the time to engage in multiple conversations with the vast time difference.
One company, Tadom Hill Resorts, kept popping up on my screen through sponsors, friends links and general word of mouth at work so I thought, hey, lets see what this fuss is all about and I booked myself a room right away.
As soon as I opened their website I knew it was right up my street as there were various accommodation options available such as Hammock Spheres, Bamboo Hut, Garden Tent Sites, Lakeside Tent Sites and the Gendui Chalets. Funnily enough, only the poshest and priciest option was available, the Gendui Chalets, which took out of my pocket a mighty 250RM based on their weekend rates but not to worry as I saw rooms for as little as 60RM listed!
Other than the quirky accommodations there’s The Bamboo Hall (chilling area), Tadom Hill Cafe, Bamboo Showers and Toilets, Tadom Splash ( beautiful lake that you can swim in), Bamboo Surau, Bamboo Tree house ( romantic’s will adore), Groove Bar, BBQ area and the Bamboo Play area ( cool activities made from natural sources).
You can buy a day pass for as little as 20RM where you can use all the facilities on site just as an overnight guest would, however, it works on a first come first serve basis so it’s best to get there as early as possible as this place is extremely popular!
